New Jersey Wine Festivals invites you to The Harvest Wine Festival on Friday, November 6, 2009 at the
award-winning Hilton Short Hills Resort & Spa. Come relax, mix and mingle with other wine lovers while
enjoying the sounds of LIVE jazz. This is our 6th wine and jazz event at this wonderful venue and our
customers keep coming back for more. (see details of our last event)
WINE & FOOD: What pleases your palette? Are you into a full-bodied, rich, red? Or are you in the mood
for a light, summery white? Maybe you'd prefer a more lively selection with a few bubbles. No matter
what your taste and no matter the occasion, there will be quite a few wines available to meet your needs.
Bold, dry, sweet, or fruitful; Red, white, rose, or sparkling; The connoisseurs from The Wine Library will
be selecting wines for every palette’s pleasure. 180+ wines for tasting!!! AND to accompany the wine,
the hotel’s culinary experts will provide a first class selection of light hors d'oeuvres...plus antipasto,
cheese, bread and pasta stations. The Hilton Short Hills is the recipient of numerous awards for food
service, and it is one of New Jersey's finest hotels. SEE THE WINE LIST
WINE CLASSES: Three (3) wine classes will be conducted in a special tasting area at 7:15PM, 8:15PM
& 9:15. The instructor will conduct a side by side tasting of 5 special wines, explaining the grape varietal
origins and tasting notes for each. Class cost is an additional $20 per person and advance reservations
must be made online or by phone during ticket purchase. This is an opportunity to attend a 30-40 minute
small group session during the event to expand your knowledge of wine. Class sizes are limited, so
